What's so special about the shortcut??

I've recently implemented User-Level Security in my database.. the shortcut
was placed on my desktop as it is supposed to. I have since moved the
shortcut to the My Documents folder (the folder is syncronized with the
server) so that I may open the database on a different computer on the same
network. When i try this the shortcut image is a graphic displaying that the
file type is unrecognized.. when i click the link it asks for me to put a
disk in my D drive.??!!! I dont understand this at all.. How do I recreate
the shortcut so it will work properly. I still have to upload the files to a
network resource folder so that it may be used by my peers.

Here I go replying to my own Questions again...

I figured out the D Drive issue.. the computer i created the file on has
Microsoft Access on a 2nd drive (D: Drive) where the other computer has it
on the C Drive.

If the shortcuts are built with a fixed target. How will i need to modify my
shortcut when i move it on to the server at Q:\\payroll\ ?

Thanks in advance

Wherever you put it, the shortcut should be:

(all on one line)

"full path to msaccess.exe"
"full path to secured database file"
/wrkgrp "full path to securing workgroup file"

A "pear" of pants? AHH HA HA HA! Stop rolling your eyes! I love corny jokes.
The lamer the better. It's especially funny when the joke teller acts like it
is the funniest thing they ever heard. I just flew in from Cleveland and boy
are my arms tired.

He he he! That's great. You lost me with the nose thing, though. What is that
supposed to mean? Is it just supposed to sound funny? Either way, I like it!
