What's the best way to insert Visio flow charts into a Word doc?

I have tried every possible scenario I can think of, (ex: saving as a .jpg,
..emf, .bmp and then inserting as a picture; copying and pasting into the Word
doc., etc.) and I always end up with a fuzzy flow chart or with the text in
the process boxes being cut off. Do you have any ideas that might help?

Hi,

Couldn't reproduce your issue,
but maybe my flowchart was too simple

you could try:
* group the shapes, select all, copy & paste

* save file in visio as .vdx and open the file in word with insert/object

* make sure all the items are on the page with setting file/page setup/page
size and check 'size to fit drawing contents'

* rightclick object in word and select 'format picture' go to the tab size
and make sure the setting '
relative to original picture size' is checked

If you are able to save your chart as a PostScript or PDF file,
for example using print to file option using a PS driver or use
the free PDF creator from http://www.primopdf.com/,
you could use pdf2picture/pdfFLY to convert the PDF or PostScript file to
vector-based WMF or EMF.

See http://www.visual-integrity.com for more information and a free eval.
