What's the difference?

I am thinking about buying the OneNote program for school but I can't figure
out the difference between the academic version and the full version. Would
someone explain ?

None whatsoever in the program, just a less expensive price for you. Any
program labeled as an "academic version" by Microsoft is the full program,
nothing left out.

There's only one version of the product - the different SKUs you're seeing
are different prices (the academic version is much cheaper).

Does this apply to "Home & Student" version also? I've seen academic, full
and home & student versions while searching online retailers. It's been very
confusing, and I don't want to buy a stripped down version by mistake.

There are no differences in the program regardless the source.

The only thing different with some offers is lack of manuals which
in the case of OneNote is of no consequence as the folks who
wrote it are still trying to figure out how to explain the program
to the users.

OneNote isn't so much an application as a way of life, you see. Each
person must meet OneNote and find their own way.
