I am a current student, interested in purchasing the latest copies of
Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint. First, ...are all three only
available
in Office? ...and does anyone know what the best price they are available
at?
Thanks,
Kevin
Depends on where you are a student, grade school, college or private
institution.
If your school has a book store, go there and find out how much it will cost
for MS Office with the programs you need. If there is no bookstore, you can
try one of the online academic sellers. You will need either a valid email
address assigned by the school or a valid student ID that can be scanned and
sent to the company. See MS's web site
http://www.microsoft.com/education/academicdiscounts.mspx for information on
student products.
The last and most expensive route is to purchase MS Office Home and Student
from a retailer such as WalMart, Best Buy, Amazon, etc.
Amazon currently has it for sale at $79.99 with free shipping and it is
normally SRP at $149.95. A good deal. Don't know how much longer this sale
will be on.
