What's the scoop about copy/paste?

Seems like there's a problem with copying text from a document open in Word 2008 into another program, like, say, Dreamweaver. (The clipboard behaves as if it's empty.) Since this is something I do about a hundred times a day, it's an deal-breaking flaw in what is otherwise a pleasant upgrade.

The proble is a known issue with several Adobe products. I believe it is
being looked at but as yet there is no definitive resolution. If you search
the newsgroup you'll find several convesations on the matter which may offer
some workarounds.
