I don't know if this is a Publisher topic, but I know people use pdf to send Publisher files, so maybe someone knows. I set up a calendar in Pub 2007 (person wanted me to make one with B&W images, on beige background. I used the background setting in Publisher "parchment". I first made the images B&W in Photoshop) When I saved it as pdf using Primo, the images came out all rough and grainy. I tried separate pages and some looked "okay" and some didn't. Not good.
They look fine in Publisher and print fine.
Maybe pdf doesn't do good with B&W images? I know we can use it for text and writing on the Publisher files always looks good (it does on the calendars, too)
I used various options and effects in Photoshop to get them B&W and bright, crisp looking (like channel and sharpen) I don't know if that would matter. Once they were inserted into Publisher.
I've used Primo to save entire calendars (with color pictures) and it's worked fine.
Thanks,
Carrie
