When Closing split database Access does not close

I have a client who has a split database that does not
close Access when she attempts to close the Access based
program. Access hangs which forces her to perform a
CTRL+ALT+DEL to bring up the task manager to end the
process. What could be causing Access to hang?

Thanks for the information. It did not actually match my
problem but it got me to thinking about what the client
is probably doing that is creating the problem.
