When copying from internet to Word, why does it lock out?

With my upgraded Office package I have found that when copying pages from the
internet ie copies of receipts etc., and then trying to paste them in Word in
order to keep my records, the programme locks out and will not paste. I am
also finding that I am unable to Forward emails that have professional
headers, although ordinary basic emails are fine. Again the programme locks
out. Any suggestions?
