When emailing word doc's it's not received in print view.

When emailing word doc's it's not received in print view. I generally create
text boxes and insert pictures. When this is received they are directed to
"welcome to Reading Layout". This is very confusing to most recipients. How
can this be fixed to display in Print Layout?

Version - Microsoft 97-2003 Document.

Any help is most appreciated.

This is not something you can do anything about on your end other than make
one of the following suggestions in your cover email:

1. Suggest that the recipient not open the document directly from the
attachment but rather save it to the hard drive first. If a document is
opened from the HD, it will not open in Reading Layout view.

2. Suggest that the recipient disable Reading Layout view by clearing the
check box for "Allow starting in Reading Layout view" on the General tab of
Tools | Options.

3. Suggest that the recipient immediately switch into Print Layout view. In
cases where RL view has corrupted a TOC, it will be necessary to press F9 to
update/correct it.
