When I change the default tab setting on Publisher it will not sav

Does anyone else have this problem or a solution?

I go into Format - Tabs - overwrite the default of 0.5" and change it to 0.3"

I also key in 0.3" in the Tab Stop Position: and then click Set then click Ok

However, when I save/close/open the document again the tab settings are back
to 0.5".

....am I missing something???

Probably not - Word does the same thing.

Are you working on a file that was previously a 2000 document?
Custom tabs that you previously set in Publisher 2000 are not saved when you
save a publication in Publisher 2002 or in Publisher 2003
