When I embed a picture in Word it is invisible until I print or p.

When i import a picture into Word, it is invisible to me other than the
outline box. i tried reloading Word but that made no difference, has anyone
got any ideas how i can make my pictures visible to me?

Tools > options > view > uncheck 'picture placeholders'.

Graham,

Thanks - I have gone through about 20 Word "experts" who never heard of such
a thing. Your answer worked for me!
