when i goto help in any of my office 2000 apps nothing hapenes.

I No longer can use Help in any of my office apps. It used to work but now
does not. I have uninstalled office and re installed it but the problem
persists. I have checked and the help files are present on the disc.

If the office assistant is on It does go as far as letting me search but on
clicking on one of the searched items again nothing happenes.
The help in other none office programs does work ok.

I have office 2000 runing on win 98

any ideas?
