I am experiencing a rather annoying problem with Microsoft Word 2003. When I
first open Word, it gives me an error message saying "Compile error in hidden
module: AutoExec." (I have all the latest Windows Updates and Office
Updates.)

Then, if I open a new document (keeping the first one open, therefore having
two Word windows open at the same time), and I minimize one, and then I
maximize it, Word just suddenly quits. I don't get an error message or
anything, just all my Word windows disappear and the process Winword.exe
quits. I'm not sure if that problem is related to the "Compile error in
hidden module: AutoExec" problem at all.

Any help with these problems would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
-Chris

Thank you so much! Turns out I had some Word add-ins from programs I'd
installed and removed. Now I no longer get the error message upon startup,
and I don't have the problem with Word just quitting when I maximize a
minimized window with more than one Word window open anymore. Thanks again!
