when i move single field in form design all fields move

I use access 2007 and when try to change fields length in the design view I
find the whole fields change no matter what field was selected. there is no
single finger selection of the field in the new access 2007 instead there is
the + sign which change the fields and its label at same time, how can I
solve this. Also how can I increase spaces between fields either
horizontally or vertically , where is the spacing format that was found in
access 2003

Under the Arrange tab, you'll see a group of 3 icons: Tabular, Stacked,
Remove. Select the controls you want to ungroup and click Remove.

While the new grouping features are very slick, they can be annoying since
it is not as evident that controls are grouped as it was in older versions.
