Hello Julie
when I print there is a line on the page that does not appear on screen.

I have drawn a 3 page table and with lines and borders in it in word but
when I print there is a mystery line on page 2 which does not show up on the
page.

Where on page two? Does it look like it's part of the table, i.e., an
actual border? Try identifying all the cells around the line, and remove
all borders there.

Worst case scenario: convert the whole table to text and back again to
table, then redo all the borders.

Or do you think it's rather a drawing object before or behind the normal
body text layer? It could be anchored to a cell, or to something else in
the body text. [Usually, also to something in the header or footer, but
then it would probably appear at least also on page 3.]
