When I save a word document I cant open it back up later.

When I save a 2007 word document I cant get it to open up again. It will be
saved in my documents but when I try to open it up it just displays the blue
background and the navigator bar at the top but my saved text never comes
back up.

Does your file come back zipped? When I first started using my Microsoft
2007, I had a similar problem, my files came back zipped, and I could not
open them. If this is the issue, when you save your files, save as 1997-2003.
It works for me. Hope this helped.

Word 2007 format documents are zipped xml files given an appropriate
docm/docx/dotm extension.

Are you able to open any documents in Word 2007?
