when i scroll after copying some text, the copied text is lost

Hi,

I have XP Home

At the time of copying and pasting across text, when i scroll after copying
some text, the copied text is lost. When I say Ctrl +V a screen snapshot gets
pasted instead of original copied text.

This is very annoying.
