when I select edit hyperlink nothing happens

when I select edit hyperlink nothing happens, how can I fix this? I have
performed 'Detect and Repair' selecting 'restore defaults' and this did not
correct the problem. Also, when I used: Edit--> links --> Open Source or
double click on a linked item I get the message ... can't start the
application required... repair now? I select Yes to repair and an error
oocurs when 'installing: Application Server' beacuse 'Object is corrupt or is
no longer available'

If you use Symantec/Norton AntiVirus, try disabling the Office Plugin
that comes with it (but don't disable Norton AutoProtect). See
