Whenever I open Word and click on Blank Doc the very first document that I ever created always appears and I have to manually go and delete every word to get a blank doc. What do I do?? I am being driven insane!!!!

IF and Only if you just started out. and you have nothing of consequence
saved in the Normal Template. The easiest thing is quit word.

you find file to locate the normal template will show up as normal
with no extension on Office 2004 or normal.dotm for 2008 move to desktop
re-open word.

Note this is only if you've just got started and you do not have any
features you want to save.

I want to make sue That I don't get email hate mails.

Use Clive's method if you have any doubts.
:)

If everything works fine them move the version on the desktop to trash
and empty.

Dear [whoever],

The best insanity is self-inflicted! ;-)

You saved the changes involved in that document into your Normal template.

Open the Normal template (locate it with Spotlight), delete the offending
text, save and close.

If it's "fixed", don't "break it"!
