computer. The files were working fine and one day microsoft would not open my
files and show me an error, "the file ____not available". I can open new
documents type in them and save them and when i reopen them, the same error
shows. It is happening in ALL office software...excel, word...etc. Please

Are you sure you don't have Norton Antivirus on your computer? Many
newer computers come with a trial version preinstalled by the computer
manufacturer. What antivirus program do you use, if any?

Use Windows Explorer or My Computer to search your hard drive for an
OFFICEAV.DLL file (be sure to include system and hidden files/folders in
the search options). If you find it, note the folder where it is
located, and use the "regsvr32 /u" method described in
http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=329820 "How to use Office programs
with the Norton AntiVirus Office plug-in" to unregister the DLL.
