When I try to open files in MS Office software computer freezes

Howdy Folks,

I've recently been having a problem with Microsoft Office software on
my computer. In particular, whenever I try to open files in Excel,
Word, or Powerpoint the computer freezes when I try to access the
directories on my computer. Similarly, when I try to attach a file in
Outlook I get the same problem with the computer freezing. I'm using
Office 2003 on XP with all recent updates.

down to Item No. 383 "Hewlett-Packard's Share-to-Web software - Fix (MS06-015)"
to download a registry fix.

Note: You may need to temporarily disable your antivirus program
in order to safely run the scripted fix.
