When make an EPS file in Publisher it comes out as a blank square.

I followed instructions in Publisher 2003 for making an EPS file that I
needed to send to an professional printer. However, when I try to import the
image into my document it comes in blank. What am I doing wrong? I have a
PostScript printer chosen, I chose Composite CMYK as my output and have
chosen EPS as my Postscript printer option.

I followed those directions exactly. Have a printed copy sitting on my desk
from the Help Menu. I used the PostScript driver for our Ricoh 3131 color
copier which is all I had to choose from.

A question. Does the eps print? It might simply be lacking a preview
which would result in a blank on the page.

No, it doesn't print either. I even downloaded the Generic Color PS printer
driver that it suggests in the Publisher Help and that didn't work either.

Can you distill it (With Acrobat Distiller)?

Making an eps via the windows printer driver is a pretty sorry process.
Typically such files are troublesome when imported into anything, either
they have no preview or there are glitches in the code that prevent them
from printing.

It would work much better, I imagine, to print to a PostScript (PS or
PRN) file then run Distiller on it and then if necessary export an eps
from Acrobat.
