Hi, Linda,

It depends; there are several Microsoft updaters. Do you know which one you
are using?

You can check in Word's "Help | About" menu to see if it has been patched.

Hi Linda,

The 2nd link is the sign up page for the automatic update checking related to your 1st link. If you're getting automatic update
notifications then the first choice is fine :)

=============
I had been using:
http://update.microsoft.com/microsoftupdate/v6/default.aspx?ln=en-us
But have just found this one ---

Now I am confused as to which one I really should be using!! Doesn't take
much for me!! LOL

Hi Linda,

Basically a roundabout route to get you to the same place :)
In your browser try typing in http://update.microsoft.com and it should take you to the same area where you can do a custom scan for
updates to have it show you all the updates avaiable and check the update installed history to see what is listed as already 'done'.

Office XP and Office 2003 (and soon Office 2007) are supported for updating from MS Update, earlier versions of Office are not.

I am using the following link for updates -
