When Office 2007 is installed, IE7 could have "Save as PDF"!

M

modicr

Hello!

Currently, if I want to save current page in IE7 as PDF, I have first to
open it Word 2007 and then publish it as PDF. This can be done automatically
by adding "Save as PDF" to File menu in IE7, when Office 2007 is installed.

Thanks, Roman

Or, you could continue to (cross)post here so that the rest of us can get
some idea of what's going on with O2007.

It'd be appreciated by me and many others!

And, it'd cause various unseemly reactions in the faces of various
""""""MVP's""""" !!

Thanks!

Random posts here about Office 2007 will give you a confusing perspective at
best. When Microsoft releases the public beta, you might consider
downloading it and testing it. That should be happening fairly soon. For a
more complete and less random view of Office 2007, you might take a look
here:

The Vista update to Windows and the upcoming version of
Office will cost about the same as current versions once they are released.

The student/teacher version of Office will also be folded into the home edition, he added.

BTW, blogs are really great source of information:

Dear Herb,

Thanks for the link. It's interesting to see how the 2007 interface is
progressing.

Apparently, our wanting to respect our NDAs is unseemly?

There's a difference between respecting your own NDA and trying to make
others respect theirs. Besides, there's the practical consideration
that there may be less traffic in the private beta ngs than there is in
the public (nonbeta) ngs. Someone who wants answers quickly may believe
that posting through the public ngs would lead to quicker answers.

So 'unseemly' was inaccurate. Maybe desire to act like elementary
school hall monitors would be apter.
