When opening or saving an Office document to My Network, it hangs

When opening or saving an Office document to My Network....My Network hangs
or may take up to 5 minutes to open My Network. This only happens when using
Microsoft Office applications. Operating System in XP Pro with SP2 and all
current Office updates.

Try disconnecting any mapped network drives that are not currently available.

disconnecting any mapped network drives does not make a difference. The
problem only occurrs when opening or saving from a Microsoft Office
application. I do not have that problem when opening or saving to 'My
Network' from a non-microsoft program.
