I just reinstalled the whold d.... computer. When opening Outlook 2000 a
messageappears stating "documents & settings/name/application
data/microsoft/addins" is not a valid office addin. This is a clean install
and I imported the saved PST file. It seems to cause no problem but it is
just pesky.

Any help or ideas out there?

Thanks

John,

I can't remember the exact path for 2000, but I don't think it's changed.

Open Outlook
Goto "Tools"
Goto "options"
Goto the "other tab"
Click on "advanced options"
click on the "add-in-manager"

Look here for any unusual
Here you can click off the check marks for any option.

If this does not do it. I would create a new profile and start new.
