when outlook 2003 opens it says it cannot find extend.dat. where .

When outlook 2003 opens, it never finds extend.dat. I have re-installed this
and done 'detect & repair' but it does not solve the problem.

Do a search on your harddrive (include hidden files and folders) and rename
extend.dat to extend.old. Outlook will rebuild the file with information
from the registry.
