A few weeks ago something changed so that when double-clicking a message in
my inbox (or any other folder) the resulting message opens and then
immediately disappears behind the main Outlook window. It's almost as if
Outlook has switched to a mode where the main window is told to always
remain on top. It results in the message I've just double-clicked (so I can
read it) opening behind the main window. The only way to read it is to
either minimize the main outlook window or use Alt-Tab to switch the message
to be the active window. I can find no preference or option setting that
seems to relate to the situation. Occasionally I will open an email and the
message opens on top, jumps behind, and then jumps in front.
I believe this all happend after installing an add-on called Plaxo that
provides an automated contact list manager function. I like the capability
so I haven't tried uninstalling it yet.
Anyone found a solution?
Thanks,
Scott
