when pasting row I am prompted to save as...

I am new to using Office 2002 & I have received a file via
email that has several formulas in it but no macros. When
trying to copy a row in the file & pasting it somewhere
else within the same worksheet, I am prompted with the
save as dialog immediately after pasting the data. I do
not have this problem in any other files, but I tried to
copy, paste on another system with the same results. Any
ideas what could cause this?

Ok - I just realized today that the dialog box that is
appearing is the "update values" box, but looks like a
save as box. This file has several formulas & links to
other workbooks, but the update values never came up in
the past & no files that are linked to this one have been
moved or anything...any suggestions on how to get this to
go away when copying/pasting without moving the formulas
around?
