When POP messages are downloaded into Entourage, they appear in theInbox

POP messages downloaded into Entourage, appear in the Inbox

How can I get them to appear only in the Pop account displayed in folder
list & display the # of unread messages in the account
Then get Entourage to start in the default account not the INBOX

This is the normal action

Please explain in more detail. I'm not clear on what you mean.

What version of Entourage are you using?
