When printing in word 2004 for MAC application closes

Help this is driving me nuts. My printer works fine in all
applications including other office products. In word I can print a
normal letter size document. However I am trying to print a custom
size item 8.5 x 5.5. I need to change the paper handling in order to
have the job print correctly. However if I have my okidata c5200ne
choosen and I go to chose Paper Handling or Summary the application
will close. I can choose any of the other items in the drop down and
it will work. Please help I am seriously frustrated.

I have downloaded all the updates for office and I have a macbook on
intel os 10.4

you downloaded the latest Okidata printer driver?

Once you have installed the latest driver, I would remove the OkiData
printer, then restart the computer.

Then add the printer back in.

I suspect the printer record has corrupted, I would reboot to clear it out
and re-install it.
