When running Office 2003, do I need the update for Office 2000 1a.

Microsoft is saying that I need the update called "Office 2000 1a", yet, I am
running Office 2003 (just upgraded). Do I need to install this upgrade?

You have configured the program to check for updates. And, surprise
surprise, it found that an update is available.

If you are having no problems, then an update is not required, I guess.
That being said, I upgrade when upgrades are available as a matter of
practice to avoid current and future issues with no hassle. I would
suggest you consider doing this upgrade.
