"When starting, go directly to Outlook Today" -- nope....

I have checked and saved the "When starting, go directly to Outlook Today"
option countless times, and it won't work for me.

I can "Customize Outlook Today" in all the other ways that the program
allows: Messages, Calendar, Tasks, Styles.

I just can't get the program to go directly to Outlook Today when I start
the program.

Is there anything I can do to correct this problem?
