If a listbox's row source criteria is a match between (a query field and a
control in the form) then...

What happens when there is no record available for the query field?


Could this be why I keep getting prompted for the listbox's query criteria,
when I change records at the parentmost form, though I'm not sure. This
only happens when there are no records yet for the queries criteria
expression to use.

If so, is there a way to tell the listbox row source not to worry about the
it.
