when trying to send a document or picture the email does not open

In my pictures or a word file, i try to send to email and Microsoft Outlook
will not open, no email opens. My default is set up to Microsoft Outlook. I
have only had my notebook for a few days and software was installed at by
Dell.

I have the same problem and have yet to find a solution. My IT help is very
slow to respond. Have tried duplicating the settings of my old PC but still
no fix. Looking for any suggestions.
