when typing my cursor jumps around to different lines

when typing in word or my email my cursor often jumps around
on the page to a different line or section???

Laptop, right? Be careful not to accidentally brush your touchpad. Or
maybe it's very sensitive and responding to the vibrations of the
keys. See if you can turn down its sensitivity in your hardware
controls somewhere, or disable it when a mouse is plugged in.
