When upgrading my office 2003 I now get patch package unavail

While attempting to upgrade office 2003 to office 2007 Beta, the installation
stopped and now I cannot reinlatall or deinsatall my non funcitoning 2003.
When I attempt to reinstall with the CD, I get the message "This patch
package could not be opened. Verify that the patch package exists and that
you can access it. Please help.
