I have a dial-up connection and Office 2003 Professional. When will
Microsoft be releasing a CD I can receive by mail? This download takes 4-3/4
of hours. I currently have to use a notebook because my main computer had a
hardware failure and I don't want to have to do this download again.
If this is a cost cutting measure on Microsoft's part, how many billions do
they have to make on the way to disadvantaging their customers with these
horrendously long downloads?
In November I was able to order this CD, which was scheduled to arrive in
December. When it didn't arrive I called the number they previously supplied
to order the download and was told it would be available in late January, and
that my order had been cancelled (although I was never notified). We are now
in February, and they still don't mention how I can order the CD on their
download page.
