where are contacts and calendar in navigation pane

I had a lightning strike and lost 2 laptops. I had saved my .pst file on an
outboard HD. I rebuilt the surviving laptop sucessfully and installed Outlook
2003. Everything works correctly after reinstalling the .pst file from the
outboard. However, when I open the navigation pane all folders appear there
except "calendar" and "contacts". Originally all folders appeared in the
navigation pane. Am I doing something wrong or is there a way to correct
this. It is time consuming and frustrating to have all info in the pane
except the two folders I use the most. Thanks.
