I want to move my office to an new machine and wanted to know where
the Macros are stored.

I do not want to lose them in the migration.

Macros are stored in templates and documents. The default location
is in your Normal template, so you should be sure to copy that over.
I'd suggest instead of using it directly (since corruption occurs
frequently in this template), that you start Word on your new
machine then use the Organizer to move the macros to your new Normal
template.

Personally, I keep nothing in the Normal template, but instead keep
my macros in a couple of global templates. Global templates are just
templates that are stored in the Microsoft Office
X:Office:Startup:Word folder, and thus open whenever Word starts up.
(Actually, I have my Startup folder in my Microsoft User Data
directory, and I have an alias to it in the application's Office:
folder. That way I can be sure it doesn't get deleted accidentally.)
