Where are Microsoft Office "contacts" files stored?

I have just started using Microsoft Office's Outlook for
storing my addresses, telephone numbers and e-mail
addresses. In the event of a hard drive failure, I want
to back this information up. I have tried to find this
information file without success. Please tell me where it
is and how to back it up. Thank you.

If all you want is the Contacts (not all mail), you can
use the Import/Export wizard to export only the Contacts
to a PST file and then back it up.

The file you need to back up is your Personal Folders file (*.pst) It's
where all the mail, calendar, contacts etc are stored.
