where are stencil and template file paths stored?

Our app adds a path name for stencils and templates in Vis2003, i.e., it
does the equivalent of selecting Tools/Options/Advanced/File Paths and
entering a path for both the stencil and template.

My question is -- where are those path names stored?? I can't find them in
the registry and haven't located an .ini file anywhere. Any suggestions?

As well as what JuneTheSecond said, please ensure that if the path is
not empty then you append to the path (with a ';' separator), don't
just overwrite what is already there. There is one installation for an
add-on for Visio that does this, it stops everyone else's add-ons from
working.

June,

Indeed that is the place! Both StencilPath and TemplatePath are stored
there. The curious thing is that I had searched the registry for a path name
I know is defined. I did it on two different systems -- and both searches
came up empty.

Thanks for the link to the MS articles.
