Where are "Tasks" kept in the hard drive?

My computer belw up but I have my hard dive and I need to know where (of if)
the "Task" files are kept on the hard drive. What is a "task" file's
extension? Where in Windows explorer do I look?

Assuming you refer to OL tasks, and all data contained in the pst(s) i.e.
mail, contacts,calendar etc

<sigh> DL told you where they are stored - there is a file on your HDD
called *.pst. (I think the default is outlook.pst) Unless you connect to
exchange......
