Where are the custom dictionaries located in Office UltiVitsa Ulti

In every version of Word since Word for Windows 1.0 to 2007, Windows
programmers have sadistically changed the place of the custom dictionaries
and had several "proof" directoRies to choose from. Every time, it's the same
story: the UNhelp file is no help, Microsoft techs KNOW ABSOLUTELY NOTHING,
and I have to spend hours trying things out to get them to work. Now in Vista
Ultimate with Office Ultimate it's the same story.
WHERE ARE THEY LOCATED!!!!!???????
If any of the programmers are reading this: STOP DOING THIS. IT IS
ANNOYING!!!!!!!!!!!!

Click the Office button (upper left corner), Word Options, Proofing tab,
Custom Dictionaries tab. The path you seek should be shown in File path.

Thank you. That will only indicate where I tried to put them. There aren't
any dictionaries to begin with, so I am always obliged to put them in the
various "proof" directories on the hard drive to try them out. If Microsoft
would start helping customers with the language proofing tools and tell us
where to put our old dictionaries (mine are filled with 22 years of word
data), it would help. At least put it in the UNhelp file.

There is always a default Custom.dic, or if there's not, one will be created
the first time you use the "Add to Dictionary" command. So use Windows
Search to look for it.

Thank you, but nope, that’s wrong. That would be too easy. Absolutely NO
dictionary is made when I delete all my dictionaries. The “add to dictionaryâ€
button is grayed out. There are several "proof" files and even a uproof file
in 2007. Of course there are some Office products that have only one
dictionary which has no relationship to any of the ones used for Word. This
is typical Microsoft BS where no tech knows anything and the UNhelp file is,
and always has been since Word for Windows 1.0,…USELESS!
