Where are the old copy and paste buttons on toolbar?

Only recently started working with Office 2008. On the toolbar on the top of the page there are no Copy and Paste icons or buttons. As of now I am going into File and hitting the copy or paste options manually.

Gone. You can use cmd-c to Copy, cmd-v to Paste--which will work in
nearly every Mac program I can think of.

You can also customize the toolbar to bring them back:

.... Or you can adopt the Control/Right-Click technique - keeps you from
having to travel to the toolbar ;-)
