where are themes and templates?

[Templates, Themes or Backgrounds?]

Does anyone know where exactly Themes and Templates backgrounds are stored on
your computer if you are using Windows Vista Premium? I would appreciate any
assistance you may offer. I would like to use one of them and manipulate it
in Photoshop and add to it. Thanks.
