Hi Amit,
Business Contact Manager provides two functionalities for taking a backup of
your data. In both cases, the files can be stored anywhere on your local
machine:
1. Use “File > Business Database > Backup†feature to take a backup of your
BCM Database. This will create an .msbcm file at the location specified by
you. This will store all your history items and all links among the BCM items.
2. Use "File > Import and Export > Business Contact Manager". Select to
"Export" the data. The formats available are
i) List Builder Contacts
ii) CSV
iii) BCM (Business Contact Manager Data).
This option will again create a file of the format selected and stored at
the location specified by you. However, here, the History items are not
backed up and also, the links between the BCM items are not maintained.
Thanks.
