You need to purchase the Office Language Pack 2007 for German. This link
should work. If not, go to http://office.microsoft.com and enter Language
Pack in the search box.
If you want an earlier version of Office then Proofing Tools exist but you
would have to find them used or old stock. In that case a German localized
version of Office would seem to be the best choice.
