Where can I find listed the advantages of upgrading from FP2000.

Joe Fizell

I used FP2000 to create my genealogy website http:www.fizell.org several
years ago. The site has many, many pages and links, with a fair amount of
traffic from genealogy researchers. This is not a commercial endeavour,
rather a retirement pleasure. FP2000 did not allow me to create a
serarchable family tree chart and graphics. Could I do this with FP2003?
Would my Office 97 support the FP2003? Is FP2003 the latest web building
software from MS?

Note, I am really a novice and do not write html, etc. The FP2000 was great
for someone like myself.

I don't have each and every specific benefit but take it from me; I paid $89
or so to upgrade which if you've got fp 2000 you can do to (I had '02). the
new release FrontPage 03 is like night and day compared to any of the
previous versions. I'm starting to really like it/ get used to it and
figure I'll completely transition away from the previous version(s) in a few
weeks.

improved "views", improved publishing, improved in a great number of
different ways. there's also "split view" where it shows the code in one
pane and the "normal" view in the other pane. you'll learn a little bit of
code by just using that.

it's much better and well worth the upgrade fee.
</IMHO>
