Where can you manage Project Server Permissions?

Go to Server Settings (on the left hand menu bar), under Security, you should
see a link for Project Web Access Permissions. Once inside the link scroll
down to the General section and there you will see a checkbox for "Log on to
Project Server from Project Professional"

I'm on our sharepoint site, and do not see either of those links. Are we
missing something here during deployment? All we know and assume as that all
Project Server adminstration is done through sharepoint. But we don't see
any of this yet we can get to the project template on our sharepoint site.

Hi CoffeeAddict,

Try the following, in PWA:
Server Settings / Manage Groups
Select a group
Expand the Global Permission section
In the General paragraph you have: Log on to Project Server from Project
Professional
Have a good coffee!

Ok, sorry but I guess I might not be in PWA or know about it. I did not
setup this server. The guy on our team who did only knows about the
SharePoint Web Service/Portal that is installed I guess with Project sErver?
I don't know how to get to PWA other than to go to one of our sharepoint
sites and in there is a projects option on the left.

what would be the url or how to get to PWA?

I think we have just not seen PWA. How do you open it or figure out the URL
to it from your webs server running Project Server? It says you can get to
it from Project Professional client? Not sure about where to access PWA.

CoffeeAddict,

I was not here to answer your question, but I'm glad to know that you found
the solution!
Good luck in Project web Access!

It is not controlled through SharePoint Administration. If you deployed
Project Server 2007 then you should have a special PWA site deployed and the
URL is usually http://[your project server name]/PWA

Initially the only windows account that will have access to this site is the
admin account you used for installation.

Sorry, I thought I was at the end of the thread and didn't see that you
already figured it out.

There is no default path, so also yours is /pwa, someone must have typed that
in, so don't expect to see it in any MS documentation. The person who
installed Project Server should have let you know the URL.
